~ Here's to us. Here's to ordering a salad when you really want a burger. To making an ass out of ourselves in combat cardio class. To drinking more water than seems possible. To going 5 more minutes on the elliptical. To falling in love with the you that you really are, the you that you want to become. To looking in the mirror, and not seeing any change but throwing on your running shoes and hitting the gym anyways. Here's to apples, and shin splints, and sweat shirts, and perserverance. To sore muscles, and stinky socks, and 7am conditioning class, and falling down and getting back up. And here's to getting up tomorrow and doing it all again. You're beautiful, by the way. xx

gaymommy:

a relationship will not cure your issues, no matter how hard young adult books and films try to push that notion on us. if you have depression or bipolar or anxiety or whatever, getting into a relationship isn’t going to cure that or make it go away. person with illness + relationship = ill person in a relationship. please don’t put all of your focus on finding someone to fix you, focus on fixing yourself the right way.

friendly reminder that you’re allowed to miss one workout or seven if you feel like it, if you don’t have enough time, if you aren’t feeling alright mentally or physically and you don’t owe anyone an apology. exercise is not an obligation, not a punishment, fuck fitblr quotes plastered on lean bodies that conceal an unhealthy obsession with weight control. full rest days are ok and taking a break and coming back when you’re ready is ok. (✿◠‿◠)
